What am I good for?

Do you love me?
Yes I do.
But what of all you’ve put me through?
If I hurt you it was nothing. It is just the way I am.
If I love you how will I know that you will not hurt me again?
I will hurt you once again this I guarantee but if you choose to love me, you must not hurt me.
If I accept your pain will you always be here?
I will hurt you regardless, whether I am far or near.
While you are away will you think of me?
This I may or may not, that is yet to see.
When you return from your journey will you bring me back a gift?
Once I am through with my treasures, through my pockets you may sift.
I have my Love just one more Question…What am I good for?
