The night has so many stars.. The day has but one

Yet the light of the whole world dies with the setting of the sun.

The Mind has so many dreams…The heart has but one

Yet the hope of a whole life dies when love is done.

Porcupine in My Purse

Where is that bit of chocolate
I know it's in here somewhere
I saw it when I was looking for my keys.

Ouch! A porcupine? Okay, that's weird.

Maybe I can reach around it

Ouch! Guess not.

Now I'm frustrated. I really want that chocolate. Oooh, isn't there some gum down there, too!?

Ouch! Damn!

Oh great, I'm sure that tampon is down there, too. And my sunglasses, which I really need...

Ouch! Pesky thing.

...and the phone number of that lady I am supposed to call today and (I hope that chocolate didn't melt all over my stuff)...

Ouch!

...and that...

Ouch!

...nail polish remover (that I put in there because I didn't have time to take my chipped polish off at home) and my last paper clip and my cute little travel dental floss and my favorite pen...

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch

"Listen, Lady. I don't want to be in here any more than you want me here, so just dump the purse and let me go so you can reach all of your stuff again."
